Seven Truth Principles

I. Parker Maxey
  1. Truth is the essence of Christ. The key to truth is singleness of heart to be like the Author of truth. See John 14:6.
  2. Truth is intuitively perceived. There is immediate recognition of truth. See Romans 12:1-2.
  3. Truth is progressively revealed. A person’s acceptance of truth determines revelation of more truth. See John 7:17.
  4. Truth is universal. Truth knows no season of change in time; there are no double standards. See Acts 10:34-35.
  5. Truth is obligatory to life. Failure to accept or obey truth results in death or darkness. See Romans 1:21.
  6. Truth is germinal. Truth is vital(alive), moral, inexhaustible; not mechanical. See Hebrews 4:12.
  7. Truth will be revealed commensurate or proportionate to the piety of the recipient. The spirit of truth is a spirit of humility (truth comes to the humble). See Luke 10:21.
