Seven Truth Principles
I. Parker Maxey
- Truth is the essence of Christ. The key to truth is singleness of heart to be like the Author of truth. See John 14:6.
- Truth is intuitively perceived. There is immediate recognition of truth. See Romans 12:1-2.
- Truth is progressively revealed. A person’s acceptance of truth determines revelation of more truth. See John 7:17.
- Truth is universal. Truth knows no season of change in time; there are no double standards. See Acts 10:34-35.
- Truth is obligatory to life. Failure to accept or obey truth results in death or darkness. See Romans 1:21.
- Truth is germinal. Truth is vital(alive), moral, inexhaustible; not mechanical. See Hebrews 4:12.
- Truth will be revealed commensurate or proportionate to the piety of the recipient. The spirit of truth is a spirit of humility (truth comes to the humble). See Luke 10:21.
